Will Head Will Head has compiled the life-enriching principles found in this book from over 30 years of research and from leading workshops on the art of “Opting for Joy” and being “Joyfully Single.” Over the last 10 years he has been actively involved in planning, organizing, and participating in a variety of single adult events in the Denver metro area, including dances, conferences, speed dating, service projects, and ski and raft trips. In addition to his speaking and writing activities, Will currently owns and operates a real estate/mortgage company in the Denver metro area. He graduated with a BA in Political Science from Brigham Young University in 1976 and earned a Master’s in International Management from American Graduate School of International Management in 1977. Will is the father of four grown children and after being single for over 10 years, he recently married his best friend and personal assistant, Laura. They currently reside with three of Laura’s four children in Broomfield, Colorado. Will likes to ski, raft, and bike with his family and friends in the mountains of Colorado, and he is fond of telling his children what a privilege it is to live in such a beautiful state. As a devoted fan of “sharpening the saw before you cut the wood,” he enjoys beginning each day with two hours of a variety of different forms of physical, mental, and spiritual activities, such as riding his spinner while listening to books on tape, reading inspirational writings, and meditation/prayer.
